Ever wanted to install a texture pack, well here are a few videos by some people on Youtube that should help you get started:
HD texture packs may cause lag, dependant on the quality of your computer.
On some higher resolution texture packs you need to Patch your game, BE WARNED : this can mess with a few important files and cause a black screen on load up or a frozen updating screens, amongst other possible errors. BACK YOUR MINECRAFT FOLDER UP INCASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
